  • Yes, members of HR Bivy are clients of Zaller Law Group, PC (Firm). The Firm will need to perform a conflicts check and then provide an engagement letter for the client. The Firm provides the services, and HR Bivy is the platform that the services are delivered to the clients.

  • By bundling legal services through the use of technology, we can offer clients a much lower cost access to legal services. Through HR Bivy, our Firm can provide ongoing legal support for a fraction of the costs compared to one-on-one consultation with attorneys. Clients still receive one-on-one legal support and advice, and in bundling our services and utilizing technology, we can offer these services at a cost-effective price.

    For example, in addition to our legal advice, we can also offer HR training for:

    • California’s mandated one-hour training for employees and two-hour training for supervisors

    • Ongoing best practices training for managers and what managers need to understand about California employment law to keep the company compliant

    • Specific training on various specific topics such as: how to interview employees, how to onboard employees, how to conduct terminations and separations, ect…

    We also offer access to our library of forms, articles and other resources. Receive notifications when new forms are uploaded or updated in our library – this saves time and money by not having to email an attorney for common forms and keeping the forms up to date.

  • Through bundling our services and using technology, we can offer these legal services for a low predicable monthly fee.   • Yes, up to five members of your company can access HR Bivy. If you need additional members of your team to join, please contact us.

  • Bivy is short for bivouac. It generally refers to a shelter used by rock climbers, soldiers, and outdoors people. Bivouac is French, and was initially used to refer to additional guards used by military to protect an encampment.
